The TechSelect community consists of value added resellers (VARs) marketing a wide range of technologies, products and services.
To be eligible for TechSelect membership, customers must:
- Have Net 30 day terms with Tech Data Corporation
- Purchase a minimum of $300,000 in products and services through Tech Data Corporation between February 1 and January 31 each program year
- Have a minimum of two technicians on staff
- Have a minimum of three industry recognized certifications including one operating system, and two hardware certifications or technology certifications
- Have a minimum of three industry recognized vendor authorizations (IBM, HP, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.)
TechSelect members are asked to adhere to the following guidelines to remain in active status:
- Pay membership dues
- Sign a mutual confidentiality agreement to protect against unauthorized disclosure of highly confidential TechSelect data and materials (i.e. Member Guide, Advisory Council By-laws, conference manuals, etc.)
- Maintain good credit and financial standing with Tech Data Corporation
